Richard Nixon was a great American president.This will not be generally recognized for many years to come due to all of the professional Nixon haters still in existence and the stain of Watergate.Nixon was a true conservative who believed in economic justice.Modern conservatives practice the doctrine of economic rape of the working people.They took it too far and so now we have Obama and the ruination of the Republican party.Unlike the brain-dead conservatives of the past quarter century,Nixon had a mind capable of great thoughts.So there was the opening to China and the negotiations with the Soviet Union leading to nuclear arms restrictions.He did impose wage & price controls to balance the economy.His health care proposal was not a single payer system,but was health insurance with employers paying 3/4 of the cost and the individual paying the rest.It is not widely known or acknowledged,but Nixon saved two nations from being wiped off the map.In March 1969 the Soviet Union was extreme
