On November 10, 2009, VeriChip Corporation (NASDAQ: CHIP) completed its acquisition of Steel Vault Corporation (OTCBB: SVUL) and changed its name to PositiveID Corporation. In conjunction with the name change, PositiveID began trading under the new ticker symbol “PSID” on the NASDAQ effective November 11, 2009.
