Was Orlando really engaged to model/makeup artist Jemma Kidd?
That story appears to be a totally unconfirmed internet rumor. Yes, that “fact” is part of his bio on the Internet Movie Database, but the IMDb just gets its information from people sending in submissions, and their biographical information is frequently wrong. It has also been reported in some newspaper articles, but again, many other articles have stated that it is merely a rumor that has never been confirmed. Orlando and Jemma were photographed together at a party in Cannes in May 2001, but as far as we have been able to discover, neither Orlando nor Jemma has ever stated in any published interview that they even dated, let alone were engaged.
