Look closer to home, Martin McGuiness is the Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland, He was commander of an IRA Active Service Unit in the early seventies and at one point was placed by British Army intelligence as being a member of the IRAs Army Council. The people who no doubt supported Mandella will inevitably look up to him as he represents their particular struggle. Those who where on the receiving end of his “terror campaign” will no doubt view him as nothing more than a terrorist. Was Oliver Cromwell a terrorist when he rebelled against Charles I?
