Was Michael Jackson the King of Pop or Wacko Jacko for you?
King of Pop That man had one seriously f-ed up childhood. And I think that seriously contributed to the obvious mental issues he had in later life. However, whatever person he turned into later shouldn’t diminish the fact that he was one hell of a songwriter, performer, and entertainer. He was loved by fans all over the world. I’m a bigger fan of his earlier albums – Off the Wall, Bad, Beat It, Thriller, but some of the stuff on his Dangerous album is okay too. I don’t know much about his more recent stuff… never paid much attention to it, although my husband is a fan of all of it. I honestly feel for his family, especially his children, as no matter what everyone’s opinion was of MJ, they lost their daddy yesterday. I only hope that he finds some peace now from whatever demons were haunting him.
