Was M6 death man running from assault?
Sep 22 2008 By Sian Powell A MAN who died running across a busy north Warwickshire motorway could have been escaping an assault, police have revealed. Officers investigating the man’s death – which led to a seven vehicle pile up on the M6 near to Corley Services – have said there may be links to an assault in a minibus on the northbound carriageway at around the time of the collision. Police were forced to close the northbound carriageway of the M6 near to Corley Services after the collision on Sunday evening. At around 9.10pm there was a collision between a man, who was running across the northbound carriageway, and a lorry that was travelling northbound on the M6.
