Was jesus illiterate?
There is no reason to think that. Consider these accounts from the Bible: Jesus was an outstanding communicator. When the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him. The officers came back empty-handed, saying: “Never has another man spoken like this”! On one occasion his parents Joseph and Mary were returning to Nazareth from Jerusalem and had covered a day’s distance from Jerusalem when they discovered that 12-year-old Jesus was missing. Going back to Jerusalem, they searched diligently and finally found him at the temple, listening to and questioning the teachers there.—Luke 2:41-50. They found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers and listening to them and questioning them. “7 But all those listening to him were in constant amazement at his understanding and his answers”.
