Yes it was wrong. Parents do not have a “right” to do anything they want to a child even if it is their child. A child is a responsibility (to be nurtured, guided and protected). Children are not “property” to do with as a parent pleases. Until the child is raised and old enough to make his own decisions regarding how he may want to alter his body, it’s hands-off with with the body altering ideas. This father did not have the best interests of his child in mind. He was simply doing what he, the father, wanted without any consideration for his child. Subjecting a 2-years old child to a tattoo is absolutely asinine.
