Throughout the album there’s a very synthesised vibe as well. Yeah, we like that. And that was also kind of evocative of that whole kind of late 70s German thing that we’re tapping into a little bit, that’s a bit more fitting, it’s not really riff-o-rama. So that was a bit fitting, and I think it’s just nice to have a break and not have to listen to track after track that sounds kind of that same, that’s got the same kind of busy intro and a build up and a little quiet bit and then back into a… you know, it’s just nice to go “oh, this is a good groove. It sounds really fat and interesting and kind of haunting. Let’s just out some other weird, haunting pads on it”, and then I think we added some weird sounds of some 70s short wave recordings that we found on the internet. Then that was done, there was no point adding anything to it, it kind of sat very nicely.
