Absolutely! I always love to turn things on their head and in some ways there’s only so far you can go to change that view, but I always like seeing strong females. It was always hard for me growing up to relate watching women who spoke when they only had one brain cell. And I hope that comes across because it is still a silly comedy, but that’s what I loved about Lotte, and that’s what really made me want to play her. Here in Australia we don’t realize how big Matt Horne and James Horden are over in the UK. What was it like working with them? They are great, it was interesting because I had seen ‘Gavin and Stacey’ and it’s only this year when they’ve exploded everywhere. It was quite fun when people are at one of the pinnacles of their career and to be part of that, and they were very lovely to work with.
