Was it frustrating playing Amanda all those years when she was constantly getting dumped and treated like dirt?
At first I liked it because I think we all have a friend like that: she doesn’t know that she does everything wrong with guys, she gives it up too fast, she has no self-esteem. I think that’s a real, true character. But then it started to get old. I wanted to see her learn from her mistakes. Towards the end, it was a little frustrating. I kept thinking, “This will be the time it’s going to be different,” and it wasn’t. A lot of fans follow you on Twitter. Why did you choose to share so much of your life with viewers? I love Twitter for a couple reasons. Fan mail seems very intimidating and it’s stacked up. It’s great when I can get to it but it takes hours and it gets to a point, especially when you’re in a big storyline, where I don’t have the time between work and regular life, to do that.
