Was it easy to get used to the the Turkish food and weather?
Lyheang: When I first came to Turkey it was not so easy for me to adapt to the food because Cambodian cuisine and Turkish cuisine are different. But after some time I could eat most Turkish food and I find it delicious. The weather in Istanbul is fine. It is not so cold in winter and during spring Istanbul is even more beautiful with the view of tulips. 11. How about your Turkish friends in university? Lyheang: They are friendly. They are very curious about Cambodia and I am happy to explain my own culture to them. 12. Do you like your school, friends and teachers? Lyheang: Yes, I like them. 13. If we compare the two cultures, what do you think of Turkish culture? Lyheang: Every culture has its own unique things. I am glad to understand and learn more new things with the respect for the inspiring Turkish culture.
