Hoover gets a bad rap in history unfortunately for him. He had the misfortune of being President during the depression so much gets blamed on him and Roosevelt gets the credit for taking us out of the depression. I don’t think he really had a chance due to the depression. Any President had they not ended it would have been blamed for it. He was the unlucky guy!
