Was FDR a Communist???
It should be noted that the policies that FDR imported were not communist, they were fascist, in some instances directed copied from Mussolini’s economic programs. That isn’t to say that he wasn’t completely enamored with Stalin, as Churchill remarks in his memoirs that Stalin was playing him like a fiddle and had him as giddy as a school girl. Not to mention fascism itself being based off of 19th century British guild socialism, but Fascism is the most correct term to use.
