Was Enoch Powell correct in his river of blood speech?
Enoch Powell’s speech was taken out of context. He was referring to the River Tiber. However, he inadvertently caused more harm to this country than Hitler ever did as no politician since has had the guts to speak out about uncontrolled immigration. If you read EP’s biography he was the most intelligent man in Edward Heath’s cabinet. He was a scholar in Greek and Roman history which part of his speech came from. He was speaking up for a woman who was the only white left in her street and who was getting hassle from Asians that had taken over the area.
