Was Dr. Miller working for Blue Cross/Blue Shield while serving on the Board?
If the Board is there to protect patients, why does a doctor have to stop what they are doing with a patient when a compliance officer comes into their office? If a complaint is made to the Board about the actions of a compliance officer, what does the Board do? Why cant a compliance officer make arrangements in advance of a visit? Is TMB subject to Open Meeting laws? Doctors practice in a defensible manner, not what is best for the patient. The Board should not automatically accept the word of a compliance officer without allowing a physician to respond to allegations the compliance officer makes. The compliance officers are bullies. The compliance officers should be nicer. Do you put a doctors license at risk by asking them to perform services to treat a condition that are not usually prescribed for a condition? Is there anyone on the Board that represent alternative modalities of medicine? If something is beyond the standard of care but does not harm the patient, why couldnt it be c
