Was Dirrell running scared or did he give Froch a defensive masterclass last month?
Dirrell was bitching wasn’t he? He was super negative and I felt sorry for Carl. Going into the fight Carl was looking for a knockout, especially with the bonus point up for grabs. That was all I heard him talk about before the fight but obviously Dirrell heard that and thought, ‘I ain’t getting knocked out’. Dirrell just went out there to score and try and win on points and it nearly happened for him. He nearly got the decision but I’m glad he didn’t because I like Carl. Carl was the one forcing the fight and deserved to win but hopefully he’ll get something a bit better in the next bout with Kessler.
