Was “Deadwood” a good series and did it conclude or did it just end without wrapping up please?
Deadwood was a GREAT series – realistic, gritty, historical drama at its best. But – and it’s a big “but” – it got cancelled after season 3 and season 3 ended with quite a few unresolved issues that the scriptwriters had intended dealing with in the next season. We were promised 2 two-hour TV movies to conclude the series but now they are not going to happen. I would still recommend watching Deadwood as it’s such a good show and even with the unresolved issues at the end of season 3 it’s still worth watching for everything else that happens and does get resolved in the series. I was expecting a fully resolved ending to season 3 and so was really disappointed with the way it concluded but if you already know that some things remain unresolved then maybe you won’t be as disappointed?
