No. If you look back at the original language manuscripts, even in the Old Testament it was clear that the promised Messiah would be God in the flesh. And then in the New Testament era, when Jesus came, He declared Himself to be God. Again, it’s in the original manuscripts, that were written right after He lived. Jesus is God; He said He was; the old manuscripts on which we base certain modern English translations say it too. It wasn’t invented in the 4th century. His deity is the cornerstone of our faith. If He’s not God, then His death was meaningless and we have no salvation.
