it was the first dark one, the one with adam west was all campy, thts where joel schumacher (or however u spell) got inspiration n he ruined it but i think the dark knight wouldve still been dark because of nolans direction, he wanted it to be more realistc and darker, whereas burtons was still comicy, just not camp
