With the price heading towards $30 I don’t believe this to be value for money personally, however this depends what you’re looking for in a hostel, with Base being one of the hostel drop-offs for a certain backpacker bus you may want to party the night away with other passengers. However, if you want a nice sociable hostel with relaxed common areas and the possibility of getting a decent night’s sleep and you’ve landed here don’t unpack your bag too much.
