Was Barbara Bush’s Maid-of-Honor Dress Tacky? Monday May 12, 2008At Jenna Bush’s wedding to Henry Hager last weekend, her twin sister Barbara was her maid-of-honor. Like the other bridesmaids, Barbara wore a Lela-Rose design. However, while theirs were short, and designed to look like the colors of Texas wildflowers, Barbara’s was long and shimmery silver-white. So what’s wrong with this picture? To me, Barbara looked just too bride-like. Her shimmery gown almost outshone Jenna’s simple Oscar de la Renta wedding dress. The too-close-to-white color and the flowers in Barbara’s hair have me wondering, “Who’s the real bride here?” What do you all think?
