Was America bombed in ww2 anywhere besides pearl harbour?
You are not dumb to ask this question because some attempt was made by the Japanese after Pearl Harbor to attack towns along the California coastline – not sure if these were successful or not. This link explains about the bombing of Californian towns by the Imperial Japanese Air Force in c1941. And like it says, most Americans seem unaware of this bombing.
