Amy Otis Earhart was the MOTHER of Amelia Earhart. I do not know what her religious background was. The Father was Lutheran. You may be somewhat confused with Ruth Nichols, another Female pilot of the period, who was most definitely a Quaker and was involved in both the Relief Wings charity and later, Unicef. UNICEF is one of the very few organized bodies that has been awarded the Nobel Peace prize- in l965/ Only the Peace Category can be awarded in this fashion- some other corporate recipients were; The Red Cross, the American Friends Service Commitee (Quaker organization) Doctors without Borders, and Amnesy International. it might be remarked neither the Salvation Army nor any individual SA leader such as General Evangeline Booth was ever awarded the Nobel Peace prize, though slum-battler Jane Adaams was co-honoree in the early thirties, she of Hull House fame.
