Was Alexander the Great Black?
Just because Alexander The Great was Greek by no means indicates that he was white black, or of racially mixed orgin. The fact is that for centuries Ancient Greece exisited as a colony of the Egytian Empire who at the time were comprised entirely of Nubian of Black North Africans of the Khemetic cultural cradle (as the arabs did not enter Egypt until around 700 AD many centuries after Alexander’s rule). There was a large contingent of black Egyptians among the ruling class of ancient Greece. This mixed Nubian/European ancestry is the royal lineage that Alexander undoubtably had forebears from. How Egyptian or Greek Alexander’s ancestry is by no means an open shut question. What is certain is that images of Alexander shown on coins and staruary carved in his lifetime depict him with clearly non-european features. This needs careful research into the ethnic linneage of Alexander the Great.
