Cullens, Volturi and a topless Jacob – Twilighters around the world got to see a brand new extended trailer for New Moon at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart took to the stage at the VMA’s in New York to debut an extended trailer for the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon. Fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting the new sneak peek since MTV announced it would appear in the show two weeks ago and it didn’t disappoint. The trailer offers a look at the darker sequel to last year’s blockbuster, which details what happens when the gorgeous vamp Edward (Pattinson) leaves a heartbroken Bella (Stewart) who then looks to hunky werewolf Jacob (Lautner) for comfort. The trailer also gives us glimpses of Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen as evil Volturi vamps Jane and Aro.
