Was 2 Pac Really That Good?
Pac was a poet. He went to Baltimore School for the Arts for most of his high school and was a “gifted” student. Lyrically he was years ahead of many. If a lot of people who are haters of Pac would sit down and just read some of his lyrics they might just be swayed over to his side some. He was torn between the rough and tumble world of the streets and the money and wealth that came at him suddenly. Everyone already knows that he was born while his Mother was serving a prison term for her interactions with the Black Panthers. He had a hard life and mad love for women. His rap skills were undeniable and he had a stage presence that hardly anyone could hold a candle to. He was unique in his own way and his death was unwarranted and unnecessary. I think was very good, along with Biggie & Big Pun and Big L. Rakim is still living and shouldn’t be included in this discussion. I think they all added that certain “je ne sais quos” that to the rap game and all were excellent at what they did. P
