Give the pokemon you use in contests a whole lot of Poffins, Poffins help to boost the amount of hearts you get from the crowd during the dress up stage of the contest. Another thing you want to do is take lots and lots of walks with pokemon and talk to it, in case it has an item (accessory, barry, etc.) in its hands. The more accessories you have the better you can do in the dress up stage. You may also want to practice the dance stage of the contest. Not to mention, be smart about what moves you use, combos are always great for a winning chance so practice and experiment, see what pokemon have combo moves. Lastly, it’s ok to go for the chance at filling the box with stars, but others like to try it too so be sure to try and make yourself the first to preform(with agility or quick attack), but don’t always go for the stars, you could be ahead of everyone else and probably not need it, it’s ok if one is close behind you or you yourself are way behind in the contest.
