Volume License-Administrators choose one of the Visual Studio role subscriptions prior to the end of their VL agreement. Does this apply to Subscriptions acquired by partners via MSDN Academic Alliance and the Microsoft Partner Programs, including Empower?
A. Members of the Microsoft Partner Program (Empower Subscribers, Certified Partners and Gold Certified Partners) will be automatically transitioned to a new Visual Studio (VS) role. They will not have the opportunity to choose a new role for delivery as part of their Partner Program Benefits. However, we are working on providing our Partners with the ability to purchase additional VS Subscriptions (including upgraded levels). Further details on this will be announced in the coming weeks.
