Entry formality: All foreigners visiting Nepal require a visa, which can be obtained at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon arrival or at the Royal Nepalese Embassy or Consulate in your country. Two-passport size photographs are required for the visa procedure. Children below 10 years are exempt from paying visa fee. Visa fees is as under: 1) Single Entry visa fees: – US $ 30 for 60 days 2) Multi Entry visa fees: – US $ 50 For visitors who intend to re-enter the country within 150 days after leaving the country during the same visa year will have to pay entry visa fee of US $ 50 valid for 30 days. A 60 days visa can be extended upon expiry. Visa can be extended upon paying the extension fee equivalent of US $ 50 (in Nepalese currency) at the Department of Immigration. A visa can be extended for a period of 30 days.
