Privoxy’s default settings intercept our server’s response to our client, and leave VersionTracker Pro hanging with no response. A way to work around this is to create a section in Privoxy’s /Library/Privoxy/user.action file that looks like this: { -filter } client.versiontracker.com You will then have to restart Privoxy.
