• Check the version number in C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files\Java Runtime Environment. • Open Netscape Navigator. Go to the Help >About Plugins menu. Check all the MIME types in NPJava.dll. If the following exist: • “application/x-java-applet;version=1.4”, you are using Java Plug-in Software 1.4 • “application/x-java-applet;version=1.3”, you are using Java Plug-in Software 1.3 • “application/x-java-applet;version=1.2”, you are using Java Plug-in Software 1.2 • “application/x-java-applet;version=1.1.2”, you are using Java Plug-in Software 1.1.2 • “application/x-java-applet;version=1.1.1”, you are using Java Plug-in Software 1.1.1 • “application/x-java-applet;version=1.1”, you are using Java Plug-in Software 1.
