Firstly, welcome to Afroterminal!!! A good place to start is setting up your profile: 1) Click on the ‘People’ tab, and select the ‘Profile’ link (top left). 2) Here, select ‘Edit Profile’ to add/ change general, social, professional and contact details (Tip: Use your full name, so that your friends can easily find you on the site. You can edit your name, using ‘Edit Profile’). 3) Use the ‘Search Profile’ link to search for old and new contacts – view their profiles and/ or add them as friends. 4) Don’t forget to invite friends in this area as well – you can import friends email addresses from your address book in Yahoo!, Hotmail, Gmail, etc. Don’t worry, this is safe! We don’t store these email addresses, or any of your passwords. 5) Also, you can upload your profile photo, using the ‘Upload Photo’ function. 6) Your personal profile page (accessible through ‘View My Profile’) is the page that details your info and your interests (allowing other members to get to know you better) and w
