Unscrew your Vario. Remove the ceramic prefilter disc and scrub with cleaning pad. Carefully remove the o-ring at the upper end of the filter housing, lubricate it with a small amount of silicone lubricant and put it back to the filter housing. Reassemble the filter and start pumping.
