There are a variety of ticket types. You can redeem them all the same way. Find another person with a matching type of ticket, put one of your tickets in a trade window (don’t click the jewel to complete the trade – it’s not necessary and may be hazardous to your continued ownership of your ticket), and have the other double-click his own ticket and target the trade window ticket. Both of you should get pop-up prize menus. Tickets are non-transferrable, so conning someone out of theirs isn’t really useful. Tickets are also usually blessed, meaning that they can’t be stolen (using the steal skill) or looted. UPDATE: According to our very own RtR, this method of trade window ticket redemption no longer works with newbie tickets, and may not work for other ticket types as well.
