Valet parking at Dublin hotel!?

0

Hello, in relation to valet parking, if you arrive to the front of the hotel (lock your car) and go to reception to check in. The concierge/bellman will take your car keys and park your car ( i would suggest pointing out the luggage that you want brought to your room). The hotel will keep the keys in case they need to move your car etc… You should tip (maybe a couple of euros) when you get the car back. Always best to give at least 20 minutes notice to the reception when you need your car. I work at another 5 star hotel in Dublin and this is what we would recommend to you. On Dublin zoo, if you are leaving the city directly after the zoo, then take your car. If not then don’t. Most hotels won’t charge you if you are leaving the car with them for extra hours after check out and parking close to the Zoo can be a nightmare. I hope that this helps you.
