Valenciennea wardii a brackish water fish?

An aquarium store called ‘Arizona Aquatic Gardens’ is selling Valenciennea wardii as a freshwater fish, though recommending it as a brackish water fish (the salinity range suggested spans about SG 1.006 to 1.010). I’ve never seen this fish traded as a freshwater fish before, and would be curious to know anything about this fish. Is it indeed a euryhaline fish, or rather a true marine fish that happens to tolerate brackish/freshwater for a while?
