Using power Level 4 with my low pH water still results in acid while level 5 is just around 7pH. Does that seem right and is that the highest I can expect to get?

A2: Use it at level 5 power and run the water on the slower speed. A certain amount of pressure and flow rate is needed to turn the unit on and to keep it on but a slower flow rate allows more time for the ionization to happen. When testing , make sure that all the acid water from the cleaning cycle has been flushed out ( about a glass of water ) before collecting some in the test tube. Use about 2 drops of the supplied reagent for the test, not pH paper. It may be beneficial to use an “acid nuetralyzer” cartridge in the water line prior to the unit to raise the 5.5 up to 7 before it goes into the unit as we may do with an RO system.
