Users send the print jobs to the printer directly via the IP address of the printer or the printer that is connected to the workstation locally, instead of the shared printer on the print server)?
A. Printer Admin – Print Job Agent must be installed on the workstations. The file “local” must be deleted from the installation folder of Printer Admin – Print Job Agent , which is created automatically when you run the agent the first time. After the file is deleted, you must restart the agent. In Printer Admin – Print Job Manager 4.0 Premium Edition menu item “Preferences –> Advanced,” the option “Track only the printers in the list of Monitored Printers under Printers tab” must be unchecked. You can also use the agent installation file in the folder of Workstation Connected Printer or Direct IP Printer to install the agent. The file “local” is deleted by default when you run the agent the first time. Please refer to User Guide for more details.
