User Behavior How do I find new people on myNBC?
You can search for new users with the search field at the top of the “People” page, or you can perform more advanced searches on the dedicated “Search” page. Both of these links can be found in the myNBC menubar at the top of the screen. How do I add someone to myNetwork if I am looking at their profile? In the “About Me” section of a user’s profile, under his/her avatar, you will find a link that reads “Add this member.” Clicking that link will send a contact request notification to the user, at which point it will need to be approved before the user will appear in your network. How can I tell if someone wants to add me as a contact? Contact Request notifications appear in your messages inbox under the “Friend Request” tab. You can access the messages page by clicking the “messages” link in the myNBC menubar at the top of the screen.
