Used Car Value for a 2008 Nissan Sentra?
I want to trade in my 2008 Nissan Sentra however I have been trying to lookup the trade in value of it and I can’t find it anywhere. I have tried KBB, Black Book, and NADA. Does anyone have any suggestions. A: You won’t find anything in the books until later in the year. Generally speaking these books are not helpful in determining trade-in value. Most dealers will only offer what they believe they can get at auction even for such a new car. New car sales are expected to be down again this year. For your situation, if you know the invoice price for the Sentra use that as your base (not your purchase price). Subtract 3% of this total to account for the dealer holdback. Then subtract $0.10 per mile on the odometer. If there are any rebates currently being offered on the Sentra, subtract it.
