Honestly, you can try it. As for me, I refuse to cook in a microwave, all I do with the stupid thing, is quick heat milk, boil water, or reheat food. I don’t even defrost with the thing. I feel the flavor isn’t the same as the traditional cooking method. I could add other comments, but will keep them to myself, so as not to offend anyone.
