Upon receiving an out-of-zone transfer, how long may a student remain at the out-of-zone school?
Transfers are valid for the period of the approved transfer indicated on the out-of-zone transfers chart as long as the student remains a resident of the same attendance zone. If a transfer is granted, the student is required to remain at the receiving school until the end of the current school year.
