Its possible that the printer driver that is installed on your computer is corrupted. Remove the printer driver and then reinstall it and select it as the Default printer. The scan tool software should then run without error. It is possible that there is no printer driver on your computer, or it is not selected as the default printer. A local printer driver must be installed and selected as the default printer for the software to run. To add a printer driver, select Windows Start, Settings, then Printers. If you have a local Printer Driver installed, right click on it and then left click on the Set As Default selection. If there is no local Printer Driver installed, double click on the Add Printer icon and follow the instructions to add the driver and make sure to select it as the default printer. Note: The fax cannot be selected as the default printer or the software will not run.
