Applicants are expected to sign a mobility agreement as a precondition to acceptance and graduation from the intern programs. The agreement states that an intern will be assigned (and must move) to any location within the Department of the Army. Failure to relocate can be used as the basis for non-selection, or removal from Federal service after selection. The Career Program Office determines where interns are assigned after graduation.
