Upon completion of the Interchange, how will the roadway numbering be redesignated?

0

Officials from both Pennsylvania and New Jersey have decided that the existing I-95 will become I-195 east/west between the new PA Turnpike/I-95 Interchange in PA and the current I-195 in NJ. This redesignation option would also require a section of I-295 in NJ to become I-195 and existing I-276 to become I-95 east of the interchange. The renumbering and subsequent exit number changes will not occur until the new interchange I-95 mainline flyover ramps are constructed and open to traffic, at least five years from now. The redesignation must be approved by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) after applications are forwarded by both states. See maps of Existing and Future designations.
