University NetID Services: Don Know Your NetID Password?

0

If you have forgotten your NetID password, the Help Desk for your campus can create a new one for you by “resetting” it. When you request a password reset, the Help Desk changes your password to the capital letter “A” and the last six digits of your Social Security Number (or, if you don’t have an SSN, your Georgetown-assigned ID number). The Help Desk cannot view your old password. If you are new to the university and never had a password, you should follow these same steps to have your NetID password initialized. A university or government-issued photo ID must be presented for all password reset requests. Staff cannot reset your password without positively verifying your identity with a photo ID.
