The remote that came with your DTV Converter Box may not control some TV manufactures or TV brands. However, it does not mean that the remote or the converter box has any problem. If you can not control the TV with the Universal remote control of this converter box, we recommend you use the remote control of the TV and that of converter box separately or buy the universal remote controls that can control the TV as well as your converter box.
