The United States Navy Memorial at 7th Street between Pennsylvania Avenue and Indiana Avenue in Washington, D.C. (701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW) honors those who have served or are currently serving in the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marine. The National Park Service, through its National Mall and Memorial Parks administrative unit, provides technical and maintenance assistance to the foundation. The memorial is adjacent to the Archives–Navy Memorial–Penn Quarter station and the National Archives building. Associated with the Memorial is the U.S. Navy Memorial Museum. From March to October the museum is open to the public Monday through Saturday. From November to February the museum is open Tuesday through Saturday. For America’s sea services, The United States Navy Memorial is the triumph of a centuries-old dream.
