Undergraduate Research Q1. How do I find an undergraduate research position?
• The best way to find a research position is to talk to the professors on your own. Look through the Woodruff School Research Brochure and see what professors are doing research that may interested you. Then contact the professor and ask if ask if he/she is interested in sponsoring you for a research position. • Talk to your current ME/NRE professors and see if they work with undergraduates doing research. • ME Students: Send your resume to Dr. Ferri at the very end of the semester prior to the semester you are interested in working. He will send the resumes out to all professors. • NRE Students: Talk to your faculty advisor about finding research. • Use the Georgia Tech Undergraduate Research Web Site to view a database of campus wide research opportunities.
